WHO THE FLUCK?

The beating heart of Fluck Originals is the creative output of madly prolific Cornwall based artist Peter Fluck.

Peter is a full-time professional artist whose unique and distinctive work has evolved over a lifetime of creativity and a career that includes working as … A reportage artist for press and publishing. An art teacher. A political cartoonist and satirist including co-founding groundbreaking puppet television show Spitting Image.

Peter has exhibited widely including at Tate St Ives and Eden Project; at the Edinburgh Festival where he was awarded the Herald Angel Award; in London, Bath, Cambridge, York, in the UK; in Berlin, Hong Kong and Corsica overseas.

Fluck Originals is Peter’s latest creative venture and fits a career that shows no sign of following convention.

Peter lives and creates on the edge of a cliff in Cornwall.

POST-iT NOTE ART

‘Described in its 1993 patent as “sheet material having the ability to be applied to paper and removed therefrom [with a] pressure-sensitive adhesive...resulting in a non-repetitive pattern of adhesive islands,” Post-its gave the world repositionable, removable notes. By most accounts they were developed through a series of happy accidents by 3M scientists Spencer Silver (who made a weak adhesive while searching for a strong one) and Art Fry (who made use of it as a hymnal bookmark).’
